Tone Loc Food Ministry

Tone Locs Tent Ministry is faith based, providing the homeless a nutritional meal and basic survival items such as tents, sleeping bags, clothing, hygiene items, and to guide the homeless towards local resources, such as the United Way and many other networks. Tony and his wife have been doing this for 11 years strong and rely on donations from local food banks, various churches, friends and family. They started by just feeding a few peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and giving away free socks at the Civic Center Park in Denver. They receive help from others and they just grew into the ministry they are today. They have a Venmo account @Anthony-Bucher-7. They use all donations to provide for the homeless.

They do many outreaches in the Denver area all year long. On this particular day, they had enough food that they actually did 2 separate outreaches. They made breakfast burritos and went out and found a man with a dog who just had puppies-they had nothing. They went and bought him 2 tents, a camp stove and fuel, I got him a hat, gloves and food. After they were done, they went home and made a bunch of beef and bean and cheese burritos and all the supplemental items.
CAA Tony Bucher is a proud member of OMSDT Knights Templar. Tony is part of the St. Joan of Arc Priory. We stand with him in his commitment to charity and service. The OMSDT Knights Templar are dedicated to making a positive impact through many of our missions, of which one is providing support and assistance to those in need. Together, we strive to uphold the values of compassion, honor, and community service. We are glad to have Tony with our Order.
